Salomon has delivered a controllable, accessible and efficient ski intended for All-Mountain exploration. With a lightweight core, tip rocker and tolerant Early Rise Tail, the Q90 is intended for skiers who want to start to explore new slopes and advance off-piste. Its construction and rocker provides optimum flotation, as well as a tolerant and efficient ride.

Construction & core:
- 100 % wood core: wood from the tip to the tail for better stability, a more powerful rebound, optimum contact ski/snow and a maximum attenuation of vibration.
- Sandwich Construction: edges laminated in sandwich to combine the layers of appropriate materials according to the target performance.

Rocker :
- Utility rocker : the most versatile rocker, at home in all conditions, with excellent floatation, soft cushioning of impacts and remaining easy to steer.
- Gentle Rise tail

Specific characteristics:
- Hook Free Taper : Allowing for easier turn initiation in soft and variable snow. The tip and tail shape slices through difficult snow without hanging up which reduces deviation of the tip at high speed.
- Honeycomb tip : super light extremities for better flotation. Reduces inertia to make the ski more manoeuvrable and controllable. Reinforced tips for better shock absorption.
