It therefore enables you to venture out with confidence when climbing exposed rock faces, ascending ice walls and abseiling over cornices. Furthermore, these trousers feature articulated knees and a gusset construction that provides complete freedom of movement, whether you’re climbing steep snow-covered slopes with crampons or crouching on a remarkable ice pillar. There are also abrasion-resistant reinforcements at the hem and around the studs for enhanced durability.

A few details maximise comfort, such as the adjustable waistband with an inner lining, the zip at the leg opening which fits easily over footwear, and the adjustable inner gaiter (with elastic cord, button and Velcro), allowing for a bespoke fit with crampons.
